You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to synthesize complex data, identify emerging trends in global science and technology, and translate these insights into actionable strategies that drive economic and societal impact. Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute strategic plans aligned with national RIE goals and priorities.
- Conduct deep-dive landscape analysis on global technology trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Engage and manage stakeholders across government, academia, and industry to foster collaborative innovation.
- Provide critical analysis and recommendations on research investment strategies and budgetary frameworks.
- Draft high-level policy papers, briefing materials, and reports for executive leadership and ministerial stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Support the design of governance frameworks to optimize resource allocation within the research ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or public sector policy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex, multi-dimensional information into clear insights.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience in preparing executive-level presentations.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and working within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Deep understanding of the R&D ecosystem and innovation landscape in Singapore or internationally.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
