Responsibilities
- Perform bricklaying, blockwork, and stone installation according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate layout.
- Prepare work areas, set out lines, and verify proper alignment of masonry structures.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other tradespeople to meet project timelines.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspection of tools and equipment.
- Adhere to all site safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in masonry or bricklaying.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials (up to 25 kg).
- Proficiency with measurement tools such as tape measures, spirit levels, and line‑makers.
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to complete site‑specific safety training and certifications.
