Join a dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Multi-Skilled / Preventive Maintenance Technician (HVAC & Electrical). In this pivotal role, you will ensure the smooth and safe operation of building systems across two key locations – Joo Koon (preventive maintenance focus) and Bugis (multi-skilled general maintenance). You will be responsible for performing scheduled inspections, troubleshooting electrical and HVAC faults, and carrying out corrective repairs to minimize downtime and maximize system efficiency.

You’ll work alongside a supportive team in a stable, full-time position with a rotating 5.5-day work week (alternate Saturdays/Sundays). Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical panels, lighting, and other building equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including wiring, switchgear, motors, and control circuits.
- Carry out routine inspections of air conditioning units, chillers, fans, and ventilation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct corrective maintenance on plumbing, mechanical systems, and general building fabric as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and spare parts inventory.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and coordinate with contractors for specialised repairs.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
- Support the operations team in ad-hoc facility improvement projects and energy-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in multi-skilled maintenance, with strong focus on HVAC and electrical systems.
- Valid Singapore electrical license (e.g., LEW, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Certification in handling refrigerants (e.g., R410A, R32) or WSQ in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is an advantage.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and basic computer skills for logging work orders.
- Good physical fitness and willingness to work at heights or in confined spaces when required.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
