Responsibilities
- Review and assess user‑generated content (text, images, videos) for compliance with community standards.
- Identify and flag inappropriate, harmful, or violating material according to established guidelines.
- Escalate complex or high‑risk cases to senior moderators or management when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of moderation actions and produce regular reports.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss trends, policy updates, and process improvements.
- Stay current with evolving online safety regulations and platform-specific policies.
- Provide constructive feedback to help improve content quality and user experience.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
- No prior moderation experience required—training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make quick, sound judgments.
- Excellent written communication skills in English (additional languages are advantageous).
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with common internet platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/virtual setting.
