Siloam Hospitals Group, a leading healthcare provider in Indonesia, is seeking a highly skilled Operating Theatre (OT) Nurse to join our surgical team in Jakarta. In this critical role, you will deliver expert perioperative nursing care, supporting patients through every phase of the surgical journeyâfrom preoperative assessment to intraoperative assistance and postoperative recovery.
You will be responsible for both scrub and circulating duties, ensuring strict adherence to aseptic technique, managing surgical instruments, monitoring patient vitals, and maintaining accurate intraoperative records. Working alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses, you will help create a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scrub and circulating nursing tasks for diverse surgical specialties, maintaining sterile fields and proper instrument handling.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans prior to surgery.
- Continuously monitor patient status during procedures, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Maintain meticulous intraoperative documentation, including sponge, instrument, and needle counts.
- Participate in preoperative briefings and postoperative debriefings to enhance team communication and patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital safety policies, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines at all times.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license issued by the Indonesian Nurses Association (PPNI) or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience working in an operating theatre, perioperative, or surgical unit.
- Proficient in scrub and circulating nursing techniques, including instrument setup, sterile field maintenance, and patient positioning.
- Strong knowledge of perioperative pharmacology, anatomy, and surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Calm under pressure, with sound clinical judgment and rapid response capabilities in emergency situations.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English (both written and spoken) is preferred.
