Malaysian Institute Of Art is currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous Officer, Accounts to join our finance department on a contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our financial data through precise document record keeping and efficient data entry. Your primary focus will be assisting with daily operations within our CMS system and managing the processing of E-Invoices. We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can maintain high standards of accuracy. As part of our team, you will support the smooth operation of our accounting functions, ensuring all financial records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date document record keeping for all financial transactions and archives.
- Assist in data entry tasks within the CMS system to ensure data integrity and security.
- Process and manage E-Invoices, ensuring timely submission and accurate recording.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts as required during the contract period.
- Support the finance team with month-end closing procedures and reporting.
- Generate and file necessary financial reports and statements for internal review.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or accounts payable is preferred.
- Proficiency in using CMS systems and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a temporary contract role.
