Responsibilities
- Assist the Parts Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating all parts department activities, including inventory control, purchasing, and stocking.
- Supervise and train parts department staff to ensure high productivity, accuracy, and adherence to company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and implement strategies to minimize excess stock while maintaining adequate supply of fast-moving parts.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and maintenance, improving turnaround times.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in setting sales targets, tracking performance metrics, and preparing reports for management review.
- Ensure outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing technical guidance on parts and accessories.
- Uphold safety and cleanliness standards in the parts storage area in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in parts management, preferably in the automotive or motorcycle industry.
- Proven supervisory or assistant managerial experience with strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent knowledge of motorcycle parts, accessories, and inventory management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and inventory software.
- Keen understanding of customer service principles and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
