Responsibilities
- Assist the Parts Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving departmental sales targets.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure parts availability while minimizing excess stock.
- Coordinate with the Service Department to streamline the flow of parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Supervise department staff, ensuring professional customer service and adherence to company policies.
- Perform regular audits and stock counts to maintain high inventory accuracy.
- Handle complex customer inquiries, complaints, and parts-related technical concerns.
- Generate and analyze performance reports to identify areas for operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in parts management or a supervisory role within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management Systems (IMS) and basic computer applications.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep understanding of automotive parts, terminology, and technical specifications.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume facility.
