Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle for Australian clients, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Maintain compliance with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations, including Superannuation and STP reporting.
- Process joiners, leavers, and variations in payroll data with high precision.
- Resolve complex payroll inquiries from clients and employees in a professional and timely manner.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare detailed financial reports for management.
- Stay up-to-date with changing Australian employment laws and tax legislation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline payroll processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in Australian Payroll processing.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, tax codes, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, KeyPay, or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
