Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures accurately and safely on patients of all age groups.
- Verify patient identity and ensure all laboratory requisition forms are correctly completed.
- Maintain a sterile and organized workspace in accordance with hospital infection control policies.
- Properly label, handle, and process laboratory specimens for transportation and analysis.
- Monitor patient condition during and after the procedure, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff, nurses, and physicians to ensure timely diagnostic results.
- Maintain equipment and inventory, ensuring supplies are stocked and instruments are calibrated.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (D3) in Medical Laboratory Technology (ATLM) or equivalent nursing certification.
- Possess a valid STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) in accordance with Indonesian health regulations.
- Proven experience in phlebotomy or clinical laboratory settings is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional ethical standards.
- Proficiency in using Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is an advantage.
