Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and production lines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and implement quick, effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and work orders using CMMS tools.
- Collaborate with production staff and engineering teams to optimize equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and good manufacturing practices.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Qualifications
- Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance technology.
- Minimum of 2 years of handsâon experience in plant maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or chemical environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic PLC controls is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and respond to onâcall emergencies.
