Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and process print orders accurately via phone, email, and walk-in channels.
  • Operate digital printing, binding, trimming, and finishing equipment to ensure high-quality output.
  • Conduct pre-flight checks and quality control inspections on all printed materials before handover.
  • Advise customers on print materials, finishes, sizes, and turnaround times to match their project needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels of paper, toner, and other supplies; reorder as necessary to avoid downtime.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe production area in compliance with workplace safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialised services (e.g., large-format printing, lamination) when required.
  • Provide timely updates to customers regarding order status, delays, or changes, ensuring a smooth experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level, NITEC, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in print production, customer service, or a related hands-on retail environment.
  • Familiarity with basic digital printing (e.g., Canon, Xerox, Konica Minolta) is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written) to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, order management systems) and willingness to learn new software.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy materials (up to 15 kg).
