As Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production lifecycle—from raw material planning to finished goods dispatch. Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production schedules to meet output targets and deadlines.
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure all products meet stringent quality standards and comply with safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage production budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation (materials, labor, equipment).
- Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve bottlenecks and improve equipment reliability.
- Analyze production data and KPIs (OEE, yield, downtime) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Foster a strong safety culture, ensuring all workplace safety protocols are strictly followed and continuously improved.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in production management within a high-volume manufacturing environment (electronics, FMCG, or related industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and quality management systems (ISO 9001, 14001).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly preferred.
- Willing to be based in Singosari, East Java, and work on a full-time rotational schedule if required.
- Experience in the vaping or consumer electronics industry is a strong plus.
