Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols for the hotel operations
- Lead and supervise the security team, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability audits to identify potential security threats
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire department, and emergency services as required
- Monitor CCTV systems and oversee access control to ensure maximum property protection
- Investigate security incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations, licensing requirements, and company standards
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless guest experience while ensuring safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in hospitality or hotel industry
- Diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Certified in loss prevention, fire safety, or relevant security qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian security regulations and emergency response procedures
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and security management software
- Physically fit to perform security duties and respond to emergency situations effectively
