You will patrol the property, monitor security systems, manage access control, and respond effectively to any incidents. Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property.
- Conduct regular patrols of lobby, corridors, and back-of-house areas; monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
- Control access to the property; verify guest and vendor credentials; manage visitor registration.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, or fire alarms; coordinate with relevant teams.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, logs, and handover notes for shift change.
- Enforce hotel policies and safety procedures; de-escalate conflicts with professionalism.
- Collaborate with local authorities and hotel leadership during investigations and emergencies.
- Provide courteous assistance to guests, help with directions, and support evacuation drills when required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality security experience preferred.
- Proven experience in security or protective services, ideally in hospitality or a hotel environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, emergency response, evacuation procedures, and basic first aid/CPR.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure; strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Indonesian; English is a plus.
- Valid security officer license or certification in accordance with local regulations.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and stand for extended periods; ability to handle challenging situations.
- Customer-service mindset with a guest-first attitude.
