Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to ensure all safety protocols are being followed.
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
- Report any suspicious activities or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities and any security-related incidents.
- Assist in emergency response procedures, including evacuations and fire safety coordination.
- Operate and monitor security surveillance systems (CCTV) effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related field is highly preferred.
- Excellent observation skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong integrity and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Malay and/or English.
- Physical stamina to perform foot patrols and stand for extended periods.
- Possession of a valid Security Guard license (KDN) is a distinct advantage.
- Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
