Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports with high accuracy.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and accounting standards (MFRS/MPERS).
- Monitor and strengthen internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant government authorities.
- Oversee cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and treasury functions.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support management in strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA/CA).
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, UBS, or similar ERP systems).
- In-depth knowledge of local tax regulations (SST, Income Tax) and statutory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (an advantage for client communication).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines.
