Responsibilities
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in accordance with Philippine Accounting Standards.
- Manage the full month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing historical data, trend analysis, and actionable insights.
- Coordinate with internal departments to streamline financial processes and improve data accuracy.
- Maintain organized and compliant records for audit purposes, assisting external auditors as needed.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash position reports to support treasury decisions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- At least 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of Philippine tax laws, BIR compliance, and accounting standards (PFRS/IFRS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
