Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including general ledger maintenance and journal entries.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local and international standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate smooth month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Manage tax compliance, including filing statutory reports and coordinating with external auditors.
- Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to management to support operational decisions.
- Develop and implement improvements to internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in accounting or financial reporting roles.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or Oracle) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- In-depth knowledge of local tax laws, regulations, and financial reporting standards (PFRS/IFRS).
- Exceptional analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote/distributed team setting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
