Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations for a UK-based entity.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis reports in accordance with IFRS/UK GAAP.
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met and records are meticulously maintained.
- Leverage NetSuite to optimize financial operations, generate complex reports, and maintain data integrity across the system.
- Prepare and file statutory reports and tax returns, ensuring full compliance with local and UK tax regulations.
- Act as the key point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audit engagements.
- Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts, and assist in budgeting processes.
- Collaborate with the international finance team to implement best practices and improve financial controls.
Qualifications
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or general accounting role, preferably with a multinational company.
- Proven, hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP is a strict requirement.
- Deep understanding of IFRS and/or UK GAAP accounting standards.
- Experience directly working with UK-based companies or auditors is a distinct advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, complex modeling).
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote setting during UK working hours (typically 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM PHT).
