Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with International Accounting Standards (IFRS) and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
- Oversee the complete month-end and year-end financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the local accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Establish and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function.
- Collaborate with global finance teams to support strategic initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Expert knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP (PFRS).
- Experience working in a multinational corporation or a shared services environment is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
