Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with International Accounting Standards (IFRS) and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
  • Oversee the complete month-end and year-end financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the local accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function.
  • Collaborate with global finance teams to support strategic initiatives and special projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Expert knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP (PFRS).
  • Experience working in a multinational corporation or a shared services environment is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
