Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with MFRS/IFRS.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of tax filings, including SST and corporate income tax.
- Manage bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline financial workflows and internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly variance analysis reports.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CA).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a corporate accounting or audit environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, or SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and local tax legislation.
- High level of integrity, professional skepticism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
