GUUD Singapore is seeking a dynamic Senior Accounts Executive to join our growing finance team in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with MFRS and statutory requirements.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and vendor management.
- Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to meet deadlines.
- Conduct variance analysis, prepare management reports, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision‑making.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts, tracking performance against targets.
- Ensure timely submission of tax filings (GST/SST, corporate tax) and liaise with external auditors during audit processes.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial processes.
- Mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or shared services environment.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory filing requirements.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data integrity.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
