In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial reporting, ensuring that all accounts are processed with precision and in compliance with the latest Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS). You will manage everything from daily transactional oversight to complex GST submissions and year-end audits. Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the full spectrum of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Handle quarterly GST submissions and ensure total compliance with IRAS regulations.
- Coordinate and lead the year-end audit process, liaising directly with external auditors and tax agents.
- Monitor company cash flow, perform regular bank reconciliations, and manage the fixed asset register.
- Ensure all financial records and reporting are in strict accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Assist the management team in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial variance analysis.
- Optimize internal accounting workflows and implement robust financial controls using ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, or a professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in handling full-set accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local tax laws.
- Proficiency in ERP software and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience in the automotive or motor trade industry is highly desirable.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of integrity and accuracy.
