Vs Familia Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Senior Finance & Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team in Negeri Sembilan. This role combines accounting expertise with cross-department collaboration to drive data accuracy, compliance, and timely financial insights. You will partner with operations, sales, and procurement to streamline processes, improve controls, and support strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include month-end closing, financial reporting, GL maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, payroll support, cash flow monitoring, reconciliation of balance sheets, and assisting with audits. Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close and prepare financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of postings and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Monitor cash flow, assist with cash forecasting, and support treasury activities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with insightful commentary for management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data integrity and enforce internal controls and compliance.
- Assist with internal and external audits, prepare schedules, and implement remediation measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of MFRS and Malaysian tax compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to work with non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English; Malay language skills are a plus.
