Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end product costing processes to ensure accurate pricing strategies and profit margins.
- Oversee commission calculations and administration, ensuring timeliness and accuracy for the sales team.
- Supervise daily finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Implement and monitor robust cost control measures to minimize operational waste and enhance efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and variance analysis to support management in strategic decision-making.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline financial workflows and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a financial accounting or operations role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data interpretation.
- Expertise in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SQL, or local ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- In-depth understanding of local Malaysian tax laws, SST, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy.
