Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of innovative, engaging, and effective learning solutions, including e-learning courses, blended learning programs, instructor-led training, and performance support tools.
- Conduct thorough needs analyses and audience assessments to identify learning objectives and performance gaps.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to extract critical content and ensure accuracy and relevance of instructional materials.
- Apply adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM), and cognitive science to create highly effective learning experiences.
- Design and develop engaging learning activities, practice exercises, assessments, and job aids that reinforce learning objectives.
- Utilize various authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate) to build interactive and visually appealing courses.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions, gather feedback, and iterate designs for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in instructional design and adult learning.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field; Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in instructional design and content development, preferably in a corporate or professional learning environment.
- Proven expertise in applying instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
- Advanced proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful design and development of diverse learning solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) administration and content deployment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
