Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Senior Security Officer (SSO) to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis in Simei, East Region. This is a day shift role where you will be part of a close-knit team of four, ensuring the safety and security of our premises.
As the SSO, you will take charge of security operations, oversee access control, patrol the facility, and respond promptly to any incidents. Your leadership and vigilance will be crucial in maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the security team during the day shift.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter security threats.
- Manage access control systems and verify identity of all personnel and visitors.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures consistently.
- Liaise with local authorities and emergency services when necessary.
- Train and mentor junior security officers to uphold high standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Security Officer License (PLRD) in Singapore.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a security supervisory role.
- Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Basic first aid and fire safety certification preferred.
- Proficiency in report writing and basic computer applications.
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability.
