Responsibilities
- Warmly greet customers, manage the check-in process, and accurately document service appointments.
- Actively listen to customer concerns, conduct thorough vehicle walk-arounds, and identify all service and repair needs.
- Clearly explain diagnostic findings, recommended services, and provide transparent cost estimates and timelines.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and service technicians, ensuring efficient communication and workflow.
- Proactively update customers on the status of their vehicle, inform them of any delays, and present additional service recommendations.
- Advise customers on preventative maintenance, service packages, and genuine parts to ensure vehicle longevity and safety.
- Drive sales of recommended services, parts, and accessories by highlighting their value and benefits to the customer.
- Process payments accurately, prepare detailed invoices, and ensure complete customer satisfaction at vehicle handover.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
- Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance schedules, common automotive repairs, and diagnostic procedures.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust with diverse customers.
- Ability to clearly articulate technical information in an easy-to-understand manner for non-technical clients.
- Proficiency in using automotive service management software (e.g., CRM systems) and standard office applications.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong sales acumen and a results-driven approach, coupled with an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
