Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and assess their service needs with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Provide accurate vehicle inspections, diagnose issues, and recommend necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Prepare detailed service estimates and obtain customer approval before work commences.
- Coordinate with BMW specialist technicians to schedule jobs, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding service progress, delays, and any additional findings.
- Process payments, handle invoicing, and manage warranty claims in accordance with company policies.
- Keep accurate records of service histories, parts used, and labor times in the workshop management system.
- Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards within the service reception area.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM or equivalent; diploma in Automotive Technology or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Customer Service Representative, or similar role in an automotive setting.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, preferably with exposure to BMW or other premium brands.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain technical information clearly to non‑technical customers.
- Proficiency with workshop management software and basic MS Office applications.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong problem‑solving aptitude and attention to detail.
- Valid Malaysian driving licence is advantageous.
