Responsibilities
- Greet customers, understand service needs, and schedule appointments.
- Collect vehicle information, log concerns, and record symptoms from customers.
- Provide clear explanations of recommended services and estimated timelines.
- Prepare service quotes, upsell relevant maintenance and repair work, and obtain approvals from customers.
- Coordinate with technicians and parts to ensure timely completion of work.
- Update customers on progress, delays, and final outcomes; ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate service records and follow up on outstanding issues.
- Uphold safety and quality standards, comply with company policies.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive customer-facing role.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance basics and service workflows.
- Familiarity with service management software and POS systems.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work under pressure in a busy workshop environment.
- Valid driver’s license preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
