Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, scheduling service appointments and managing booking calendars for heavy-duty vehicles.
- Accurately diagnose and document customer concerns, advising on necessary repairs and maintenance based on vehicle inspection and technical information.
- Prepare accurate service estimates and invoices, explaining costs and procedures clearly to customers.
- Coordinate closely with workshop technicians and parts departments to ensure timely and efficient completion of all service jobs.
- Proactively communicate service progress, potential delays, and additional repair recommendations to customers.
- Maintain comprehensive service records and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Conduct follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any post-service queries.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience at all touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent; Diploma in Automotive Technology or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Service Advisor or Planner within the automotive or heavy-duty vehicle industry.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and technical diagnostics for heavy-duty vehicles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using workshop management systems and standard office software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
- A valid Singapore Class 3 driving license would be an advantage.
