Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of daily production schedules and timelines.
- Monitor and record inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
- Coordinate closely with the warehouse and logistics departments to ensure timely material availability.
- Maintain accurate data in the PPIC system and prepare regular production and inventory reports.
- Communicate production delays, material shortages, or potential bottlenecks to relevant department heads immediately.
- Assist in monthly stocktaking activities and inventory reconciliation processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production planning department.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Management, or related field.
- Basic understanding of production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing principles.
- Proficient in using computer applications, especially Microsoft Office (Excel is essential).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across different teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
