Join Betterplace Property Management and Real Estate as a Tax Accountant specializing in Villa Management. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and optimize tax compliance across our diverse portfolio of luxury villas and multiple corporate entities in Bali. You will work closely with our finance and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting, minimize tax liabilities, and keep pace with evolving Indonesian tax regulations.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax) for multiple villa management entities.
- Monitor tax compliance across all properties and ensure timely payment of tax obligations.
- Reconcile tax accounts and resolve discrepancies between financial records and tax filings.
- Advise management on tax implications of new property acquisitions, renovations, and leasing agreements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during tax audits and reviews.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations affecting the property and hospitality industry.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and support the annual budgeting process with tax forecasts.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard tax data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related tax field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tax Accountant, preferably in property management, real estate, or hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian taxation (PPh, PPN, PPh 21/23/26, etc.) and experience with tax filing systems.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Jurnal, Accurate, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Brevet A/B certification is highly preferred.
