Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive tax advisory services to Australian clients, including GST, income tax, and transfer pricing matters.
- Support IPO structuring and capital markets transactions with detailed tax analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Prepare and review complex tax returns, compliance reports, and technical memoranda.
- Liaise with senior partners and clients to identify tax risks and opportunities within corporate structures.
- Conduct in-depth research on Australian tax legislation and interpret its implications for cross-border activities.
- Manage multiple high-impact engagements simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to team knowledge sharing on Australian tax developments.
- Assist in client meetings and presentations, articulating technical tax concepts in a clear, actionable manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 3â5 years of tax advisory experience, preferably within a Big Four or top-tier accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, including GST, corporate tax, and international tax treaties.
- Proven experience in tax structuring for IPOs, mergers, acquisitions, or capital market transactions.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to work Australian time zones as needed and relocate to Pampanga (relocation package provided).
