Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and file timely tax returns including income tax, GST, and corporate filings
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial statement compilation
- Handle accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations and accounting standards
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Provide responsive client communication regarding financial matters
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in taxation or accounting practice
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and accounting principles
- Certified Tax Agent or pursuing professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, MICPA)
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
