Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review corporate and individual tax computations for a diverse client portfolio.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN).
  • Assist in identifying tax planning opportunities to optimize client tax positions in compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct research on current tax laws, regulations, and industry-specific tax implications.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation for tax audits and internal reviews.
  • Collaborate with the audit and advisory departments to provide integrated client solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest changes in Malaysian tax legislation and international tax standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in corporate or personal taxation is preferred; fresh graduates with excellent academic records are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the Malaysian Income Tax Act and current tax practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
