Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, braking, and electrical system issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and performance, documenting all findings accurately.
• Communicate with customers about repair needs, timelines, and costs in a clear and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.
• Keep up to date with manufacturer service bulletins and new automotive technologies.
• Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification in automotive technology preferred.
• At least 2 years of proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of engine systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
• Ability to use diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and hand/power tools safely.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
