Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new BYD electric vehicles.
- Conduct thorough testing of vehicle systems including battery health, software interfaces, and mechanical components.
- Execute necessary vehicle detailing and final preparation to meet showroom standards.
- Coordinate with the dealership service team to report and resolve any defects identified during inspection.
- Maintain accurate documentation and digital records of all inspection checklists and vehicle release logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and workshop best practices at all times.
- Assist in the efficient flow of vehicle releases, ensuring timely delivery to our clients.
Qualifications
- Vocational Diploma or College Degree in Automotive Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an automotive technician or service crew.
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems; EV experience is a major advantage.
- Proficiency in using modern diagnostic tools and software.
- Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality output.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail and service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
