Join our client’s team as a Technician (Cranes & Hoists) and play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of industrial lifting equipment across the West Region. As a Technician, you will be responsible for the service, repair, and installation of cranes and hoists at various client sites. You will perform routine maintenance, conduct safety checks, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure all equipment complies with industry standards. Your work will directly contribute to the productivity and safety of our clients’ operations.

Please note that this role is based in the West Region with travel to various client sites required. A valid driving license and own transport are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site service, repair, and installation of cranes, hoists, and related lifting equipment
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and safety inspections according to manufacturer guidelines
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults to minimise downtime
- Carry out load testing and certification checks to ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation
- Liaise with clients to explain technical issues and recommend solutions
- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools required for each job
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience servicing cranes, hoists, or similar industrial equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with safety regulations such as WSH Act and lifting equipment standards
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license (own vehicle preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
