Responsibilities
- Perform installation, routine maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen equipment, including electrical ovens, fryers, and gas stoves.
- Diagnose technical malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct thorough safety inspections on gas connections and electrical circuits to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics team to manage spare parts inventory efficiently.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding the proper usage and care of installed appliances.
- Maintain detailed service logs and prepare accurate repair reports after each job site visit.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls within the North Region and surrounding areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related trade certificate.
- Prior experience in maintaining commercial or domestic kitchen appliances is highly preferred.
- Possession of a valid Gas Service Worker license (or willingness to obtain one) is a significant advantage.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical/gas mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach to service.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment as required by the nature of the job.
- Valid Class 3 driving license is a plus for site mobility.
