As a Trainee Mechanic, you will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations of our workshop. You will assist our senior technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial machinery. We value hard work, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine willingness to learn. Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanics in the diagnosis and repair of heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
- Learn to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service diagrams accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment at all times.
- Document all repair activities and parts usage in accordance with company protocols.
- Support the team in conducting pre-delivery inspections for new and refurbished machinery.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM/STPM or a Vocational/Technical Certificate (SKM) in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong interest in machinery mechanics and a desire to build a career in the trades.
- Ability to perform manual labor and handle heavy tools safely.
- Basic troubleshooting skills and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Good physical fitness and stamina for working in a workshop/field environment.
- Disciplined, punctual, and highly coachable with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driving license (Class D or GDL) is considered a strong advantage.
