Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes in Metro Manila.
- Ensure the timely delivery and collection of goods according to the daily dispatch schedule.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain cargo integrity by properly loading, securing, and unloading packages to prevent damage.
- Accurately document delivery logs, trip reports, and fuel consumption records.
- Coordinate effectively with warehouse staff and dispatchers to optimize delivery flows.
- Perform basic routine vehicle maintenance and promptly report any mechanical issues to management.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in logistics or delivery operations.
- Valid professional driver's license with appropriate restrictions (RC 1, 2, or 3).
- Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations.
- Strong knowledge of Metro Manila routes, traffic patterns, and navigation tools.
- Ability to perform light to medium physical labor related to cargo handling.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if required.
