Responsibilities
- Execute precision welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Interpret technical blueprints and welding specifications for project requirements
- Conduct quality inspections of welds to meet industry standards
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and safety gear
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with engineering team on welding process improvements
- Maintain organized workspace and inventory of welding materials
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional welding experience
- Certification in welding techniques (AWS/CWB preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of metal properties and welding metallurgy
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Physical stamina for industrial work environments
- Valid welding safety certifications
- Basic mathematical skills for material calculations
