Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow forecasts.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely collections and payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including SST filing and annual audit processes.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries as required.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and manage depreciation schedules.
- Assist in budgeting and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a professional qualification (LCCI/ACCA/CPA).
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in an accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL Ledger, AutoCount, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and Malaysian tax regulations (SST).
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
