About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and meticulous Executive, Credit Control to take full ownership of our billing and credit control functions based in Kota Damansara, Selangor. This is a highly strategic role that directly impacts the company’s liquidity and bottom line.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the Accounts Receivable (AR) cycle. From accurate invoicing and proactive collections to rigorous credit risk assessments and compliance reporting, your work will ensure the financial health of the organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and implement best-in-class credit policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of credit control and AR processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing for tenants and clients.
  • Drive aggressive collections strategies to achieve DSO targets.
  • Perform credit evaluations and set appropriate credit limits.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve complex billing disputes.
  • Prepare monthly reports and cash flow forecasts.
  • Ensure strict regulatory and internal compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the end-to-end credit control and accounts receivable process.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely generation of invoices, credit notes, and monthly statements.
  • Monitor ageing reports and aggressively follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
  • Conduct thorough credit risk assessments and establish credit limits for new and existing clients.
  • Reconcile complex accounts and resolve billing disputes in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and present monthly KPIs, DSO reports, and cash flow projections to management.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Property Management) to ensure seamless billing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory standards (SST, MFRS).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of billing systems, financial reporting, and credit management principles.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, independent, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience in the property, facilities management, or real estate industry is a strong advantage.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
