Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of accounting professionals to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Manage the complete accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing.
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements, management reports, and budget vs. actual analyses.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (BIR, LGU) and compliance with SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal control policies and accounting procedures.
- Coordinate external audit activities and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in cash flow management, financial forecasting, and annual budgeting processes.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure data integrity across accounting systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a strong advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS/IFRS), BIR tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Software Proficiency: Experienced in using accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team to achieve goals and deadlines.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Location: Willing to work onsite in Bacoor City, Cavite.
