Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, and payroll.
- Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with PSAK and IFRS standards.
- Develop and manage the company's tax strategy, ensuring full compliance with Indonesian tax laws, including PPh 21/23/26/29 and PPN, and managing tax audits.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide rolling financial forecasts to the executive team.
- Monitor cash flow, manage treasury operations, optimize liquidity, and maintain strong banking relationships.
- Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors for annual audits and regulatory filings.
- Provide financial modeling, cost analysis, and business insights to support strategic initiatives, new projects, and operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. A Master's degree (MBA or M.Acc) is highly preferred.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CA (Indonesia), or CMA is mandatory.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- In-depth and proven knowledge of Indonesian taxation (PPh, PPN/Customs) and financial accounting standards (PSAK/IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting ERP systems (e.g., Accurate, Jurnal, Oracle NetSuite, or SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Experience in the manufacturing, export/import, or furniture industry is a distinct advantage.
