Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of aircraft engines and components.
- Follow rigorous aerospace safety standards and technical manuals to ensure airworthiness.
- Operate specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to identify engine performance issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation and electronic logs for all repair and overhaul activities.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical and system-level problems.
- Participate in regular technical training workshops to enhance your engine-specific skill sets.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with aviation quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong interest in aviation and a desire to build a long-term career in engine MRO.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and manufacturer maintenance manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Willingness to perform shift work as required by aircraft maintenance schedules.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital record-keeping systems.
