Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, inspect, and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on customer aircraft airframe systems, including structures, landing gear, and flight controls.
- Conduct thorough inspections of airframe components per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines, identifying wear, damage, or defects.
- Perform repairs, modifications, and replacements on airframe parts using approved tools and techniques.
- Document all maintenance actions in technical logs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) with precise accuracy.
- Collaborate with avionics and engine technicians to ensure integrated system functionality and resolve cross-system issues.
- Support line and base maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and turnaround times.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Valid Singapore CAAS Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) or FAA A&P certification preferred, with airframe rating.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in airframe maintenance on business jets (e.g., Bombardier, Gulfstream) or commercial aircraft.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, composite materials, and sheet metal repair techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills (English) and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
- Physically fit and willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
